Overview

The pulsed-field gel electrophoresis system achieves the separation of DNA by alternately altering the electric field between DNA molecules, allowing them to migrate through agarose gel pores at different rates. The CHEF Mapper A series is designed for the detection and separation of DNA molecules within the range of 100 bp to 10 Mb, offering high resolution within this spectrum. It is primarily used in fields such as genomic DNA separation analysis, chromosome DNA isolation, construction, identification, and analysis of large-fragment genomic libraries, transgenic research, and synthetic biology. Each CHEF Mapper A system includes a controller, electrophoresis tank, cooling device, circulating pump, and accessories.
